Deer Antler Small

Deer antlers are a long-lasting natural dog chew that many owners use for enrichment and dental support. They are naturally shed by deer each year, then cleaned and cut for dog treats. Because they are extremely hard, they suit some dogs well but are not ideal for every dog.

There are also important safety considerations:

• Very hard chew – Antlers can crack or wear down teeth, especially in aggressive chewers or dogs that bite down forcefully.
• Not ideal for puppies, seniors, or dogs with dental issues – Softer chews are usually safer for those dogs.
• Choose the right size – The antler should be too large for the dog to swallow whole.
• Supervise use – Remove small sharp pieces once heavily worn down.
